What is gallbladder surgery?

What happens during gallbladder surgery?

Dr. Naik inserts a specially designed robotic surgical tool with which he goes through the belly button so there’s no visible incision on the abdomen. He is the only surgeon in the Bakersfield, California, area who is able to perform this specialized surgical technique.

One of the other instruments he also inserts is a laparoscope: a thin tube with a light and a camera on its tip. The camera sends a video feed from inside your body to a monitor in the operating room to allow Dr. Naik to see your organs and perform your surgery without having to make a large incision in your body.
